Five Ways to Remember Birthdays


  Birthdays come and birthdays go. How many do you remember - and how many people do you upset by having forgotten their special day? Here are some ways to get you on the path to remembering ahead of time when a birthday is coming.

  1) Gather together all the birthdays and anniversaries that you want to remember. Find those that you are missing. And then list them on a word document or use an excel spreadsheet so they end up in chronological order.And Update the list on the computer when necessary. Send out to friends and update the list on your electronic device.

  2) Receive emails. there are certain sites that are made just for entering all those birthdays. Use a search engine and find one that will do the best job for you. Most of these services are free!

  3) Check out your options. Some photo sharing sites will send you reminders for birthdays ahead of time. If you are currently using any photo sharing service, see if they offer this option. It can come in very handy!

  4) Use a calendar. Many people still use calendars for tracking birthdays. Problem is we use a new calendar every year and it can be a hassle to take the time to mark the birthdays all over again. Instead, just keep this calendar somewhere convenient that you can still check often.

  5)To use a birthday card organizer, which you can buy in most greeting card stores. It's generally a spiral bound book--each page is a pocket that is designated a month, one for each of the 12 months in a year.You store pre-purchased or pre-made greeting cards for each birthday in the appropriate month's pocket. On the front of each pocket, you jot down the names and dates of anyone having a birthday that month.As each month rolls around, you just pull out the cards for that month, fill them out, stamp them and mail them.
